Forget Reminder Privacy Policy
Overview
Forget Reminder (the "App") helps users review learning items based on a forgetting-curve approach. This policy explains how information is handled in the App.
Information We Collect
The App currently follows these principles:
- We do not collect personal information for server-side transmission.
- Learning items and settings are stored primarily on the device using local storage (AsyncStorage).
- Analytics SDKs, ad SDKs, and crash monitoring SDKs (such as Sentry or Crashlytics) are not currently integrated.
How We Use Information
Data in the App is used only for core app functions, including:
- Managing and displaying review schedules
- Applying notification settings (time, weekday, enabled/disabled)
- Saving preferences such as theme and language
Storage and Retention
- Data is stored primarily on your device.
- Data is kept while you use the App, or until you delete it.
Third-Party Sharing
We do not sell or share user data with third parties. We may disclose information only when required by applicable law.
Notification Permission
- The App uses local notifications for review reminders.
- Notifications are shown only if you grant notification permission in your device OS settings.
- You can change notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
User-Initiated Deletion
You can remove locally stored data using the in-app reset feature. Uninstalling the App also removes app-related data stored on your device.
Children's Privacy
The App is not specifically designed for children under a particular age. If you are a parent or guardian with concerns about a child's use, please contact us using the email below.
Policy Updates
We may update this policy due to feature changes or legal requirements. In particular, if we introduce push token transmission, analytics SDKs, or crash monitoring SDKs, we will revise this policy.
